China Glaze - Four Leaf Clover

China Glaze - Four Leaf Clover is een lakje uit de Up and Away collectie van het voorjaar 2010. Ik heb dit lakje ooit eens gewonnen toen via de blog van Crystaliciousss toen zij net begon met bloggen ( dat is al bijna een jaar terug!), helaas heeft hij daarna een beetje een minderwaardigheidscomplex gekregen toen hij verdween tussen de andere China Glaze lakjes. Nu heb ik hem éindelijk uit de kast getrokken om te swatchen!

China Glaze - Four Leaf Clover is a polish from the Up and Away collection from spring 2010. I've won this polish when Crystaliciousss just started blogging (Wow that's almost one year ago!), unfortunately the polish disappeared in my stash. But I found it back, and now it's time to swatch it!

Ik zal er alvast even bij zeggen dat de kleur niet helemaal overkomt, het is ontzettend moeilijk om dit kleurtje goed te fotograveren (heb hem ook nog nergens kleurecht op swatches gezien!) Dit lakje is in mijn ogen hierdoor dus ook gewoon héél speciaal! Ik vind hem echt prachtig, en hij is het echt waard om eens in real life gezien te hebben!


I'll tell you that these pictures aren't very colour accurate, it's so hard to make good pictures of this polish, I really haven't seen any swatches which are the same as the polish! So this polish is in my eyes very special! I really like it, so it's absolutely worth it to see it in real life.

Four Leaf Clover is een heel mooi groen crème lakje welke een beetje naar neon neigt. De lak is in real life wat meer groen, dus niet zoals bovenstaande foto's waarop hij een beetje blauw neigt. Applicatie is echt prima! Ik heb 2 laagjes gebruikt, en ik vind de kwastjes van China Glaze ook altijd erg fijn! Ze zijn niet zo breed waardoor ik de helft van mn nagelriemen meelak zoals ik vaak met OPI heb. Het enige nadeeltje aan dit lakje is dat hij een beetje de strepen van mn nagels accentueerd, ik heb zelf nogal streperige nagels en bij dit lakje zie je dit wat beter. De lak zelf is overigens helemaal niet streperig!


Four Leaf Clover is a really gorgeous bright teal green cream which is nearly neon. The polish is in real life a bit more green, so it's not with a blue undertone which my pics shows. Application is great! I used 2 coats, and I really like the brushes from China Glaze polishes, the brush isn't so wide that I'll paint my cuticles (like some OPI brushes). The only disadvantage I have about this polish it's that you can see the stripes from my nails very good ( My nails got stripes on them, normally you can't see it very well). But the polish itself isn't streaky at al!
