Vandaag weer een kleine review/swatches van een nieuw E.L.F. lakje. Toen ik dit lakje bestelde was ik erg benieuwd naar deze, op de website stond hij aangetekend als een mooie lichte nude kleur. Helaas was niets minder waar!
Today another short review/swatches from one of my E.L.F. polishes. When I bought the polishes I was most curious for Champagne, it looked like an awesome nude polish, but unfortunately..
Dit is Champagne zoals hij op de productfoto op de website staat. Een beetje een rozig nude kleurtje dus. Kijk mee naar mijn swatches van dit lakje.
This is Champagne as it looks on the website. A bit of a pinkish nude polish. So let's take a look at my swatches.
Deze foto is binnen genomen met flits. Hier kun je dus goed zien dat er een lichte zilveren shimmer in zit. Helaas lijkt dit totaal niet op de beschreven productfoto. Roze? Nude? Hmm hij slaat echt meer oranje/bruin uit, en er is niets nudes meer aan helaas. De kleur opzich is absoluut niet lelijk, ik ben zelf alleen niet zo'n fan van dit soort kleurtjes. Ach misschien kan ik nog iets anders vinden waar ik dit lakje voor kan gebruiken.. Misschien om mee te stempelen?
This picture is taken inside with flash. So you can see the shimmer parts, Champagne has a bit of silver shimmer in it. Unfortunately it is not like the product picture. Pinkish? Nude? Hmm no absolutely not it's a mix of orange/brown, so nothing nude or pinkish. I don't want to say that this colour is ugly, but it's absolutely not one of the colours I really like. So now i'm going to search what I can do with this. Hmm maybe it's nice to stamp with?
Deze foto is buiten gemaakt zonder flits, dus hier is de shimmer niet goed te zien. Toch geeft deze foto wel een goed idee over hoe de kleur er in real life uitziet. Applicatie was opzich goed, fijn kwastje en ik had maar 2 dunne laagjes nodig voor een mooi dekkend resultaat. Helaas is dit het 2e lakje (van de 10 welke ik heb besteld) die heel anders is dan ik verwachtte door de website. Ben benieuwd hoe de overige lakjes gaan scoren :)

Application was alright, nice brush and I just needed 2 thin coats for a fully opaque result. Unfortunately this is the second polish (from the 10 I ordered) which is a bit of a disappointing. I'm curious for the scores of the other E.L.F. polishes :)
