E.L.F. Sunset

In mijn laatste haul kon je al de nieuwe lakjes van E.L.F. zien. Sunset is het eerste lakje welke ik gedragen heb, vandaag dus een kleine review en natuurlijk de swatches van dit lakje!

In my last haul you saw some polishes from E.L.F. Sunset is the first polish I tried, so today a little review and ofcourse the swatches of this polish!

Laten we beginnen met de productfoto. Bovenstaande foto komt van de website van E.L.F. af. Zo staat het lakje dus omschreven in de webshop. Kijk goed naar de zogenaamde 'swatchkleur' en de kleur in het potje.

Let's start with the productpicture. Above picture is from the webshop by E.L.F. So here you can see how the polish looks on the webshop. Pay attention t0 the 'swatch' and the colour in the bottle on above pic.

De foto hierboven zijn mijn swatches van dit lakje. Zoals je kunt zien lijkt de kleur absoluut niet op de productfoto. Op de productfoto lijkt hij lila met shimmer. In real life is de kleur veel donkerder, hij neigt meer naar 'burgundy'. Het lakje bevat wel shimmer. Ondanks dat de kleur niet overeen komt met de productfoto ben ik niet geheel ontevreden met dit lakje. De applicatie was prima, E.L.F. heeft best een fijn kwastje, en de houdbaarheid was ook erg goed, ik heb dit lakje 4 dagen opgehad zonder topcoat en ik had geen enkele chip.

The pic above is my swatch, so this is the polish in real life. Absolutely not like the productpicture. You can see above that the productpicture shows a lilac shimmer polish. The polish is in real life more burgundy with shimmer. But I have to admit, i'm not fully dissapointed in this polish, application was nice. E.L.F. got a nice brush to polish with, and the duration of this polish was very good, I weared it for 4 days without topcoat and hadn't any chips at all.
